Experience after developing 10 rolls of B&W film.

So about two or three months ago I picked up all the kit to develop black and white film at home. On my next day off I went out and shot 2 rolls. The two rolls have kind of different themes. One is shot in downtown Toronto and the other is shot in Parkdale (a district of Toronto). Two rolls, two different versions of the same city.

Developing the first roll was surprisingly easy.  Using a dark bag sitting on my sofa with a pair of Crayola scissors and the bottle opener attachment of a can opener,  I managed to get the film into the dev tank. The second, third, fourth, and seventh tries however did not go so smoothly.  Turns out film is pretty heat sensitive and doesn't like being really warm/humid while being handled.

By this 10th roll I'm on now I think the chemicals are pretty tired. Time to swap em out. Gotta say also not digging the dev tank I chose. The way the chemicals filter into the tank is not  very efficient. Lots of the chemical spills out the sides. But But but... the funnel. Dude the funnel is flawless. It's got one job and it does it expertly.
